Super Trot Cup: „Altri tre” für das große Finale
Bereits im Vorfeld hat der Vorlauf zum Super Trot Cup 2022 im Ippodromo La Maura für ein wenig Aufsehen gesorgt als insgesamt 1.619 Pferde eingeschrieben worden sind.

Schlussendlich führte das Programm ein ausgeglichenes Starterfeld mit insgesamt zwölf Pferden. Und die vorab angekündigte Ausgeglichenheit sowie die Qualität der Pferde sollte sich schlussendlich auch bestätigen, wenngleich den Sieger auch nicht jeder kommen sah. Condor Bar (3) gefahren und trainiert von Mario Minopoli fand Ende der letzten Überseite die entscheidende Lücke und manövrierte den Vierjährigen Love You-Sohn in den Windschatten des stark aufkommenden Co-Favoriten Bacco Del Ronco (8) mit Pietro Gubellini. Vorne jedoch löste Becoming (5) weiterhin die Zwischenzeit aus und führte das Rennen bis Eingang der Zielgeraden an. Und genau dort schlug nun die Stunde von Mario Minopoli und Condor Bar (3) der, nachdem sich Bacco Del Ronco (8) nach innen orientiert hatte, bereits im Schlussbogen die Nase im Wind hatte. Auf den letzten Metern sollte sich der geschonte Rennverlauf auszahlen und Condor Bar (3) zog mehr oder minder grußlos am Favoriten Becoming (5) vorbei und lief in 1:12,8 auf den ersten Platz. Dahinter und somit ebenfalls für das Finale des Super Trot Cup 2022 am 20. August in Berlin Mariendorf qualifiziert, landeten Becoming (5) mit Andrea Farolfi und Bacco Del Ronco (8) mit Pietro Gubellini.
Der
3. Vorlauf zum Super Trot Cup 2022 findet am 12. Juli auf der schwedischen
Derby-Bahn in Jägersro statt!

in the run-up to the Super Trot Cup 2022 at the Ippodromo La Maura, the
elimination round caused a bit of a stir when a total of 1.619 horses were
registered. In the end, the program resulted in a balanced starting field with
a total of twelve horses. And the previously announced balance as well as the
quality of the horses was finally confirmed, even though not everyone saw the
winner coming. Condor Bar (3), ridden and trained by Mario Minopoli, found the
decisive gap at the end of the last overlap and maneuvered the four-year-old
Love You son into the slipstream of the strongly emerging co-favorite Bacco Del
Ronco (8) with Pietro Gubellini. In front, however, Becoming (5) continued to
trigger the intermediate time and led the race until the entrance of the home
straight. And it was exactly there that Mario Minopoli and Condor Bar (3) had
their time, who, after Bacco Del Ronco (8) had turned towards the inside,
already had his nose in the wind in the final bend. In the last meters, the
spared race course was to pay off and Condor Bar (3) passed the favorite
Becoming (5) more or less without a greeting and ran into first place in
1:12.8. Becoming (5) with Andrea Farolfi and Bacco Del Ronco (8) with Pietro
Gubellini finished behind and thus also qualified for the final of the Super
Trot Cup 2022 on 20 August in Berlin Mariendorf.
The 3rd preliminary round of the Super Trot Cup 2022 will take place on 12 July at the Swedish Derby track in Jägersro!
