Bayard und Keytothehill, der sich zwei Jahre nach seinem Derby-Desaster, bei dem er als 13:10-Favorit den Start völlig verpatzte und mit der roten Karte ausgemustert wurde, in der Form seines Lebens befindet, haben den Endlauf-Fahrschein nach Platz drei bzw. zwei in Wolvega bereits in der Tasche. Sie bzw. ihre Steuerleute Robbin Bot und Jaap van Rijn könnten die Sache also entspannt angehen. Aber was ist besser, als 14 Tage vor dem Big Point noch mal nachdrücklich die Muskeln spielen zu lassen? Der zur Stippvisite aus Schweden zurückkommende Izzi’s Newport, der sich dort auf 1:10,4 gesteigert hat und damit die „Tempoliste“ der zehn Teilnehmer deutlich anführt, und Climber, der sich unter Holger Ehlerts Regie in Italien bestens eingelebt hat, dürfen wie die enorm zuverlässige Kiss Me Bo auf ein Final-Ticket spekulieren. Paris Turf, die Finnen-Combo Jorma Oikarinen/Willow Bay Evert, der Franzose Hooper des Chasses, Rainbow Diamant, der das Spektakel vielleicht noch aus dem Jahr 2019 kennt, und die fliegende Holländerin Hindy Heikant werden im 11. Rennen auf die Überraschungskarte setzen.

Bayard and Keytothehill, who is in the form of his life two years after his Derby disaster in which he completely fluffed the start as a 13:10 favourite and was sent off with a red card, already have the final ticket in the bag after finishing third and second respectively in Wolvega. So they, or their driver Robbin Bot and Jaap van Rijn, could take it easy. But what could be better than flexing their muscles again 14 days before the Big Point? Izzi's Newport, who came back from Sweden and improved to 1:10.4 and thus clearly leads the "tempo list" of the ten participants, and Climber, who has settled in very well under Holger Ehlert's direction in Italy, can speculate on a ticket to the final, just like the enormously reliable Kiss Me Bo. Paris Turf, the Finnish combo Jorma Oikarinen/Willow Bay Evert, the Frenchman Hooper des Chasses, Rainbow Diamant, who may remember the spectacle from 2019, and the flying Dutchwoman Hindy Heikant will go for the surprise in the 11th race.
